Those little critters see everything! There’s a great quote by a guy named Aldo Léopold “Education, I fear, is learning to see one thing by going blind to another.” That’s why I never listened in school; didn’t wanna go blind.
This reminds me of Josef Pieper's 'Only The Lover Sings: Art and Contemplation.' His argument goes a bit further to the controversial point of saying if we do not see in this manner we, in essence, forfeit our humanity. It is compelling stuff.
I’ll have to read this, but I agree with the point. The attempt to completely rationalize our faith and the world we inhabit seems to be the driving force of transhumanism
